Enables effective management of the entire demand and supply chain by capturing, analyzing, and forecasting all variations of demand while documenting, analyzing, and recommending procurement and repair sourcing. Distribution Center Planning includes:

[tabs slidertype=”left tabs”] [tabcontainer] [tabtext]Demand Planning [/tabtext] [tabtext]Supply Planning[/tabtext] [tabtext]Target Stock Levels[/tabtext] [/tabcontainer] [tabcontent] [tab]Demand Planning forecasts all material demand and usage using industry-leading mathematical models as well as real-life variables and inputs (i.e. Leading Indicators, Sales / Marketing / Customer forecasts, etc.). From one global distribution center to regional worldwide DC’s – Demand Planning will forecast demand, usage, replenishment, sales, scrap, new product introductions (NPI), end-of-life /last time buys, or other factors that could create need for a inventory.[/tab] [tab]Supply Planning can manage the entire supply process and allow you to proactively address sourcing issues before they present a problem. Supply planning will automatically generate a variety of order actions including pushing out, expediting, and canceling orders. Action calculations consider such variables as material to be reworked / repaired, scrap rates, return forecasts, credit returns, redeployment of material, and shortage costs versus inventory holding costs.[/tab] [tab]Target Stock Levels (Safety Stock) are set for each part number at each location utilizing a superior “Lowest Total Cost” approach to balance the decision between the inventory cost and customer satisfaction. This functionality is specifically designed to address high-availability inventory needs, specifically same-day and next-day service commitments.[/tab] [/tabcontent] [/tabs]

Defines where stock locations need to be, the optimal inventory mix in those locations, and the day-to-day optimization of inventory throughout the network.
Field Planning includes:

[tabs slidertype=”left tabs”] [tabcontainer] [tabtext]Install Base Management [/tabtext] [tabtext]Logistics Network Planning [/tabtext] [tabtext]Target Stock Levels [/tabtext] [tabtext]Replenishment & Redeployment Optimization[/tabtext] [/tabcontainer] [tabcontent] [tab]Install Base Management enables global visibility into service commitments and the utilization of that contract information in the calculation of more timely and accurate target stock levels.[/tab] [tab]Logistics Network Planning optimizes placement of warehouses and forward stocking locations to support customer commitments. It identifies where existing stock locations are no longer needed and where new ones are required. It can plan for countries throughout the world using local postal codes as well as the locations of airports, third-party logistics providers, trunk stock and on-site customer stock.[/tab] [tab]Target Stock Levels (MIN/MAX. ROP) are set for each part number at each location utilizing a superior “Lowest Total Cost” approach to balance the decision between the inventory cost and customer satisfaction.[/tab] [tab]Replenishment & Redeployment Optimization utilizes Prophet’s “Lowest Total Cost” logic to optimize the replenishment and rebalancing process. The Lowest Total Cost logic will balance inventory, freight and stock out costs, adhere to your border / cross border business rules and recommend the appropriate hub-to-field or field-to-field movements required to meet your customer service level commitments. If desired, this can become a completely automated process via Supply Chain Execution delivery options.[/tab] [/tabcontent] [/tabs]

Integrates your systems with Prophet to fully leverage and automate your planning process with execution.
Supply Chain Execution includes:

[tabs slidertype=”left tabs”] [tabcontainer] [tabtext]Supply Execution[/tabtext] [tabtext]Replenishment and Redeployment Execution[/tabtext] [tabtext]Demand Source Locator[/tabtext] [/tabcontainer] [tabcontent] [tab]Supply Execution will automatically generate a variety of order actions including creating orders to suppliers for new product and scheduling defectives for rework / repair. Using the Prophet alert system, planners will have visibility to all activity and control to approve orders before they are passed on to other systems.[/tab] [tab]Replenishment and Redeployment Execution delivers an automated replenishment and rebalancing execution process that drives planner productivity improvement and overall supply chain efficiency. Prophet’s proprietary Backlog Criticality Index (BCI) algorithm calculates the criticality / stockout cost risk for the entire supply chain. This results in a prioritized replenishment and redeployment model that maximizes inventory utilization and minimizes overall costs. By dynamically rebalancing inventory, planners will also ensure that current assets are consumed before purchasing more inventories.[/tab] [tab]Demand Source Locator aligns the inventory sourcing process with planning by identifying the optimal warehouse source for each inventory order. This capability considers a number of factors that are easily overlooked in a manual escalation process including the target stocking strategy, order priority, time, distance, alternate parts, warehouse hours of operation and more.[/tab] [/tabcontent] [/tabs]
